Match Rules

All shooters follow Morro Bay Airgunners Freestyle rules (rule chart).

Basic Break Barrel class is for any break barrel rifle w/factory stock (no field target stocks). Scopes must be 12x max and no setting (AO, magnifictaion, turrets) can be changed for the duration of the match. Qualification is at the Match directors discretion.

Equipment inspection and FPE testing may be done at the Match Director's discretion. In any matters arising and not covered by these rules, the Match Director’s decision will be final.

Targets will be checked each morning before the match with an approved WFTF calibrated target tester. From that point on, they will count for the entire day. No targets will be pulled from the match. No free points will be awarded for any reason. There is always a chance that a target may become "sticky" during the match. Everyone is subject to the same chance. As long as the target can be reset after a knockdown, it stays in the game.

Target Malfunction Procedures:
If a reset string breaks, snags, or a target cannot be reset, call a marshal to repair it.
A shooter may still lodge a protest if they feel a target failed to fall with a good hit. The procedure is as follows:
1. Mark a P next to the zero on the score card.
2. All protests will be forwarded to the appropriate commitee (the TTC), at a later date.
